Master of Science in PA Studies
All other application elements are recommended but not required.
In addition to the university entrance requirements, the university recommend the following: the GRE, MCAT, or PA-CAT examination; completion of preparatory coursework; at least 500 hours of preparatory experience; three letters of reference; and two application essays.
While the university students have strong records of academic achievement, the Stanford University does not have a minimum GPA requirement, and the university no longer require completion of the GRE, MCAT, or PA-CAT; the university will review all eligible applications regardless of prior coursework, test completion, or test scores.

Completion of the GRE, MCAT, or PA-CAT is not required in order for applications to be eligible for review. The university recommend that applicants complete either the Graduate Record Examinations , the Medical College Admission Test® examination, or the Physician Assistant College Admission Test , but the university will review all eligible applications regardless of standardized test completion.
Medical Scientist Training Program
The equivalent of two semesters of research experience is required.
There are no minimum GPA or MCAT requirements. Over the past 5 years, program matriculants have had an average GPA of 3.85 and an average MCAT of 521. Please remember that these are averages: the range for GPA over that period has been 3.1 to 4.0; the MCAT range has been within the sixty-eighth and ninety-ninth percentile.
Publication of work in scientific journals is not required; fewer than 15% of applicants have a publication.

In addition, important component of the program is developing the student’s understanding of the role of government agencies in animal health and the interactions required with such agencies with respect to parasite prevention, treatment, and control.
GRE General Test scores of 1250 or higher for the Verbal and Quantitative sections, and 4.5 or higher on the Analytical Writing section, are preferred. The GRE is not required, but is recommended for application to the M.S. program.

Results of the General Test of the Graduate Record Examination are NOT required for applicants to the Systems Medicine M.S. program. However, if applicants wish to submit GRE scores as optional, they may do so.

Graduate Medical Sciences
All applicants are required to complete the Graduate Record Examination and possess a baccalaureate degree in a biological, natural or engineering science from an accredited university.
The general GRE test is required. The Boston University does not require students to take a GRE subject test. MCAT scores may be substituted for the GRE.
No application is required for these awards.
In addition, each student is required to pass a competency examination near the end of the program.

Admission to the Program
Required Degree:applicant must have a bachelor’s degree, in any field, from a regionally accredited institution prior to Orientation in August. All applicants are required to present a minimum overall quality point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale.
Required Courses:The following prerequisite course work must be completed by July 15 preceding the intended fall semester date of enrollment. Required courses must be taken for letter grades. Required course work graded pass/fail or credit obtained by CLEP Examination or Advanced Placement will not be accepted for any of the listed prerequisites.
Graduate Record Examination The General Test of the Graduate Record Examination is not required.
Fieldwork is a required part of occupational therapy education.
Online Master of Science in Medical Nutrition

The minimum total of graduate credit hours required for this certificate is 27.
