Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management
Grades lower than C are not accepted toward the fulfillment of requirements, although they will be included in the GPA calculation. Overall, students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in certificate courses in order to be awarded the certificate.
International students are required to enroll in 9 credit hours each semester, except for summer.
While previous academic or professional work in the nonprofit sector or a related field is not required, their personal statement about their background, career interests, and reasons for pursuing study in the program will be essential, along with the other required application materials.

Students are required to complete four courses with a GPA of 3.0 or better in order to earn the certificate. Classroom discussion and both group and individual assignments simulate real work scenarios and prepare students for real life application.

These are the application instructions for master’s or doctoral degree program students in any academic unit other than PPPM.
Applicant should begin the application process by discussing their academic and professional goals directly with Prof.
Complete the PPPM Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management Application Form for non-PPPM graduate students.
The written statement is evaluated carefully to determine the certificate program’s relevance to their education and career goals. The statement is also used to evaluate their writing ability.
Letters: Include two letters of recommendation.
Test scores: The Graduate Record Examination is not required. However, if applicant think it will strengthen their file, applicant may submit their GRE score.
Once the file is complete, the application will be reviewed for admission.

For fall admission, application must be complete by July 1 of the same year.For spring admission, application must be complete by December 1 of the prior year.

Acceptance Criteria
In its assessment of a student's ability, the Admissions Committee does not base its decisions on a set formula, but on a careful and thorough review of the candidate's application including essays, academic performance, strength of recommendations, GRE/GMAT scores , personal interview, as well as appropriateness for the field.

If applicant are experiencing technical difficulties with their application, the university first suggest switching their internet browser.
Their prior application is kept on file for two years. The Admissions Committee will review their prior application alongside their newest application in order to assess their growth and/or any changes that have taken place since the time of their last application.
While the Admissions Committee will review their prior application, their new application should include all information relevent to their candidacy and be able to stand on its own as complete, independent of their prior application.
