Full-time students typically complete their MPA in two years. Fields of Study for MPA and MPP DegreesNormally a student wishing to receive both a bachelor's degree in political science, or economics and an MPP would take 40 additional credits after the baccalaureate and would spend six years at GW. These 12 credits, chosen with advisor approval, are applied to the requirements of both the bachelor's degree and the MPP; this allows students to complete their bachelor's degree and Master of Public Policy with fewer total credits and in less than six years.It will be necessary for students to conform to the established requirements for completing an application. Prospective PhD Students
The university accept applications for fall admission only.Complete GRE test scores are required. The Admissions Committee will be unable to consider their application unless the university receive these test scores. The University of Michigan-Ann Arbor does not accept the LSAT, GMAT, or other test scores. Applicant are not required to send copies to the Joint PhD Program Office.In order to review their application, the university must have access to all of their materials, letters of recommendation, and test scores by the beginning of the deadline day.
