Students in this program learn the latest theory and research in the field of teaching and learning, as well as methods related to social studies and global studies.
Core courses relate to equity and diversity in education, methods of teaching and learning for Integrated Social Studies students, a focus on one-to-one technology, a master’s-level, inquiry-based project, and an edTPA project that demonstrates students’ readiness to be a licensed teacher.
Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA in their content prerequisites.

The minimum GPA is a cumulative 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for all graduate coursework undertaken.
The Graduate Record Examination is required. Scores must be received directly from the appropriate testing agency by the deadline.
