LDT offers merit-based scholarships on a competitive basis to incoming and continuing students with the primary purpose of supporting qualified students in pursuit of their academic careers. Students with exceptional academic standing, ability, and talent, as determined by the strength of their application materials, are considered for these awards.
LDT offers merit-based Graduate Associateships to incoming and continuing students to support their academic careers and to offer professional experience in the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship CNDLS serves as Georgetown University’s center for teaching, learning, and innovation and is at the forefront of pedagogical and scholarly innovation. GAs support the overall operation of CNDLS by working on projects related to writing and communication, assessment, technology enhanced learning, or student learning.
Georgetown University offers part-time enrollment for accepted Learning, Design, and Technology students.
Their checklist is posted the day after applicant submit their application and application items are logged as soon as they are processed. During the university high volume application season , please allow up to two weeks for their application items to be updated.
It should explain their motivation to study learning design at Georgetown, discuss professional goals, and reflect on past professional and academic achievement, with particular emphasis on skills and knowledge that make applicant a strong candidate for the LDT program. The maximum length for the academic statement is 500 words.

An MFA student is required to take all courses stipulated as core courses for a major in design. If a secondary area of specialization is also elected, six units in that area, from the elective list, are required.
This is required of a student regardless of acceptance or non-acceptance of a stipend.
The course necessitates completion of 120 credit hours, exceeding the minimum instruction required by the American Bar Association before a JD can be awarded.

No prior instructional design experience is required; however, this program is geared toward those with prior professional experience.
The American University does not require a submission of GRE test scores.
The online Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design and Learning Analytics focuses on informed decision-making through human resource analytics and technologies If applicant decide to pursue the online MS in Instructional Design and Learning Analytics at a later date, applicant can use these 12 credits toward the full degree.
