College description: The field of Cognitive Science uses scientific methods of experimentation, computational modeling, and brain imaging to study mental abilities such as perception, action, memory, cognition, speech, and language, as well as the development of those processes. Students must become knowledgeable in four areas of emphasis: perception, cognition, language, and cognitive neuroscience, as well as a set of methods relevant to Cognitive Science research. Students then create their own focus area of study, potentially integrating coursework from the Cognitive, Linguistic, and Psychological Sciences department with a diverse subset of fields including Anthropology, Applied Math, Education, Neuroscience, and Philosophy.

Admission Requirements requirements are as follows:

In their statement of purpose, applicants should describe their background and interests as they relate to the preferred Ph.D. program (e.g., Cognitive Science) and to the research conducted by specific faculty who might serve as research advisors. College description: Our neurologic residency gives you the expertise to provide high-quality physical therapy to patients with a range of neurological concerns. You’ll be prepared to provide excellent physical therapy services to inpatients and outpatients, advance knowledge in the field through rigorous research, and offer knowledgeable leadership to students and colleagues throughout your career. Coursework is completed through continuing education courses, online and on the USC Health Sciences Campus, through the Neurologic Physical Therapy Professional Education Consortium. In addition to clinical experience with expert neurologists and neurologic physical therapists, you will also serve as a teaching assistant for physical therapy courses at USC and publish original research and systematic literature reviews.
