While a 3.0 GPA or higher is a good baseline to assess overall competitiveness, rather than examine overall GPA, the university look mainly at performance levels in courses that are most relevant in the Information Systems & Technology program.
Applicants should ensure the resume included with the application has clear start/end months and years for all positions held and job titles, and contains a detailed description of duties for each position.
No minimum score on the GRE or GMAT is required for admission. A GRE score of 300 or a GMAT score of 600 are a good baseline measure for competitiveness, but standardized test scores are only one element of the application package and are considered within the context of all other application materials. A competitive score on the quantitative reasoning section of the exam may be an important factor in admission decisions, but the university assess the overall strength of the applicant’s full application.
Claremont Graduate University accepts applications on a rolling basis and operates on a priority deadline cycle. Official versions of all required application materials must be received before the priority deadline for their application to be to be reviewed. After the passing of the priority deadline, CISAT will move to rolling admissions and applications will be accepted on a space-available basis until the final deadline.
While an internship or post-graduate work experience may strengthen an application, students without work experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
At minimum, completing the following mini-courses is required: Data Models: Introduction & Relational Databases; Querying Relational Databases: Relational Algebra; Querying Relational Databases: SQL; and Database Design: Relational Design Theory.

There is no separate financial-aid application. Applicant only have to indicate that applicant want to be considered for financial aid by checking the appropriate box on the admission application.
In order to be appointed a TA, international applicants must take either the Test of Spoken English and receive a score of 50 or higher or take the TOEFL IBT and receive a score of 26 or higher on the speaking section.
Fellowships are extremely competitive and generally applicants will need to have exceptional GRE scores and GPAs.

There is no minimum GRE score. Note that the GRE computer science subject exam is no longer offered.

Computer Science
There is no minimum GRE test score, however applicants admitted to the CS graduate program usually have high quantitative GRE scores and a math background that includes study through some discrete math. If applicant feel that their test scores are not valid indicators of their ability, applicant should explain their concerns in their statement of purpose.

Recommendation Letters– Minimum of Three, Objective Evaluation of student’s independent problem-solving, writing skills, analytical reasoning, and ability to work alone and in a team environment to produce valid research results.
The statement should describe their purpose for undertaking or continuing graduate study, their reasons for wanting to study at Purdue, and their professional plans, career goals, and research interests.

Potential candidates must have their application packet complete by January 15th to receive full consideration for admission as well as financial aid.

Prospective students can apply for financial support by using the Application for Admission to Graduate Study.
Prospective students seeking financial support should indicate their interest on the admissions application form. GRE or GMAT scores are required of all applicants to doctoral programs, all applicants seeking financial support, and all applicants whose most recent degree was awarded from an institution outside of the United States.
Research Assistants
To be considered for FWS, eligible students must file the FAFSA no later than the February 15th priority deadline.
Students must take the GRE or GMAT and arrange to have official score reports to be sent to NJIT before they may become eligible to receive awards. Although there is no minimum eligibility score for the GRE or GMAT, NJIT may establish them for certain awards.
Students must earn at least a 3.0 GPA each semester, as well as maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 to keep receiving their awards. A 3.0 GPA will also maintain awards that initially required higher GPAs to receive them.
The bill statements for students receiving tuition remission and fees, if applicable, are marked "Possible Tuition Remission." After expiration of the official withdrawal period, a credit for the tuition and fees should appear on the statement.
