Official TOEFL/IELTS scores if applicant is international or a non-native English speaker
The GRE General Test is required of all applicants for admission. While the University of Chicago does not have a minimum GRE score requirement, admitted student scores are generally in the 75th percentile or higher. Applicant may self-report their GRE general exam scores if necessary, provided that official GRE scores come directly from the test site.
The TOEFL is required for all non-native/international applicants. As per University requirements, the minimum required score for the TOEFL is 104 overall, with 4 sub scores of 26 each.
Personal recommendations are an important part of the application process. Their recommenders may submit their letters online in support of their application.
Online Admission Requirements
The GRE may be required based on an evaluation of applicant's academic and professional background.
The letters can be on the letterhead of the individuals providing the recommendations or they can be submitted on forms available on the CollegeNet application.
Foreign / International Students: Need a minimum score of 80 on the online TOEFL exam or a 6.5 on the IELTS exam.
No GMAT or GRE tests required
Must complete all three designated courses within two years and earn a minimum combined GPA or 2.5 and no less than a C- in any one course.
Students whose application process includes an audition or pre-screening are encouraged to review their area's schedule and other detailsbefore applying.
Former UGA graduate students returning within four terms of their last registration will pay a reduced rate of $25 for the application fee.
Unofficial transcripts can be used in the application, but official transcripts will be required prior to matriculation.
GRE and MAT scores are considered together with all other submitted materials in evaluation of applicants.
The GRE General Exam is required for admission to the MA, EdD, and PhD programs.
Applicants to the EdS program must take either the GRE General Exam or the Miller Analogies Test.

Graduate Admission Requirements
A minimum cumulative college grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
A minimum of one year of teaching experience, or its equivalent, in music.
International students must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language The Internet-based TOEFL test measures the areas of reading, listening, writing and speaking. VanderCook requires a minimum score of 90 on the IBT with no subscores under 22. The EIKEN test can be considered in lieu of the TOEFL; VanderCook requires a minimum grade of 2A, but admission is contingent on an interview.
The university admissions personnel are trained to assist applicant in completing their application, and to answer their questions about the college.
Applicants are notified of admissions decisions after all application materials are received and complete.
VanderCook has a rolling deadline for the graduate program; however, students accepted into the college should submit a tuition deposit of $100 by April 1 as an indication of their intent to enroll.
Online MS in Quantitative Management
Applications are evaluated by the same criteria regardless of whether applicant apply by the first or second deadline.

Before submitting an application applicant must take the GMAT or GMAC Executive Assessment, administered by Pearson VUE, or the GRE, administered by Educational Testing Services
Scores are valid for five years from the date that applicant took the test and must be valid at the time that applicant submit their application. Applicant are responsible for including their test score on the online application and ensuring that Pearson VUE or ETS is able to release and send their official score report to NYU Stern. While an official test score is required for a final decision, the Admissions Committee can begin the review of their application with an unofficial test score.
The Admissions Committee will proceed with the evaluation of their application using their submitted score and may issue a decision prior to receiving additional test scores.
NYU Stern has no minimum GMAT, GRE or GMAC Executive Assessment score requirement.
Applicant have a TOEFL score of at least 100
Scores are valid for two years from the date that applicant took the test and must be valid at the time that applicant submit their application. Applicant are responsible for including their TOEFL or IELTS score on the online application and ensuring that their official score report can be released and sent to NYU Stern.
If applicant plan to retake the TOEFL or IELTS after applying, please use the optional essay to inform the Admissions Committee of the date applicant intend to take the test. The Admissions Committee will proceed with the evaluation of their application using their submitted score, and may issue a decision prior to receiving additional test scores.
If applicant do not have post-college work experience, please include information on any internships and part-time employment in their résumé and provide thorough answers to the application questions about activities and achievements.
Before submitting an application, all applicants are required to acknowledge the admission policies outlined and electronically sign the Statement of Certification.
Prior to submitting their online application, applicant will be prompted to pay the non-refundable application fee. Their application is not complete until the university receive payment of the application fee.
The application fee is non-refundable and may not be applied toward any future applications at NYU Stern or other NYU programs.
One letter of recommendation is required with their application.
The recommendation may be academic or professional in nature.
There are instructions in the application for sending reminders to their recommenders, if needed.
Once applicant receive approval, their recommender must obtain a certified English translation through a translating service and submit it in a sealed envelope with the original recommendation and endorse the envelope across the seal.
Requests should include a detailed rationale for the application fee waiver and will be considered by the Admissions Committee on a case-by-case basis.
Once an application fee is paid by an applicant, it is non-refundable.
This will not delay the evaluation of their application.
Re-Application and Applying to Multiple Programs within the Same Admissions Cycle
If applicant are not offered admission to the MSQM or withdraw their application, applicant may request to re-apply to the same program with a different start date or applicant may request to apply to a different program.
