While online programs have various advantages, they can also lead to ineffective programs. It is tough to go wrong with Ivy League colleges when it comes to good online education.

What are the career advantages of an Online Master’s degree from the Ivy League?

It is no secret that Ivy League schools are the top-tier schools in the US. The Top consulting companies like BCG, Bains, and McKinsey only recruit candidates from Ivy for their consulting arm. This is not true for software and back-end operations. This has mostly been true for their graduate programs or on-campus programs but we do not have any real evidence or data from confirmed sources that this is true for online Master’s programs as well. So in brief, the verdict is not out there for the online Master’s program.

Nevertheless, you might still get an edge when having a degree from Ivy.

It is for this reason that when people find that you are attending one of the Ivies, they will be filled with enthusiasm and respect. The same is true if people know you graduated from such a prestigious school.

This is why, after graduating from your preferred Ivy League institution, you will have a better edge than other candidates. The mere mention of Harvard, Columbia, or Dartmouth College in the educational history section of your resume is enough to stand out from the rest of the candidates.

How does the cost of an online Master’s program in the Ivy league compare with other universities?
