The transitional Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics (tMSPO) program was introduced in order to address the demands established by professional prosthetists, orthotics, and those who are dual-certified today. Professionals can achieve a master's degree and a dual certification through this distance learning approach. As an alternative, students can choose a shortened program that only leads to a master's degree. Whatever path they choose, graduates will gain from specialized curricula that are created to give them deep clinical expertise in this specific subject.

Those who are ABC-certified clinicians in good standing, affiliated with an ABC-certified clinic that has had a patient population in an eligible discipline at the University of Hartford can take advantage of this 30-credit tMSPO program. This self-paced program ranges from 1 to 3 years for completion and also requires having an ABC-certified clinician as a mentor in that same field.

Online transitional Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics (tMSPO) - No GRE

A 3.0 GPA overall is preferred. A "C" or 2.0 grade or better was required in each of the necessary courses for applicants. GRE exam results might be supplied to support your application even though they are not necessary.
