College description: In this course, learners gain an understanding of the School Psychology specialization and the standards developed for the field by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). Learners also assess school psychology skills, identify networking opportunities, and develop a professional portfolio. For MS and EdS in School Psychology learners only. Cannot be fulfilled by transfer.
Master’s degree in psychology or a related from an institution accredited by a the students.S. Department of Education-recognized accrediting agency or an internationally recognized institution.
Their official master’s transcripts, minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. A combined score of 1,000 on the GRE General Test is also acceptable.
An extended goal statement and writing sample.
Fee is required to initiate an application for admission and must be paid as part of the application process.
GRE and GMAT are not required for admission.
Letter should be on letterhead and signed, referencing their full name and program of interest.
This statement should describe their interest in becoming a professional psychologist, including their goals, objectives, and plans as they pertain to obtaining a doctoral degree.
Their professional résumé or curriculum vitae must be prepared specifically for this application in Microsoft Word and should demonstrate career progression, leadership and overall achievements.
