Online Master In Nutrition Dietetics

College description: Professionals who understand the origins of conflict often have better insight into the source(s) of specific disagreements. They have a unique knowledge of why some go against their otherwise pleasant nature when trying to resolve a disagreement. Through ASU Law Online Master of Legal Studies (MLS) with an emphasis in Conflict Resolution, learn identify potential opportunities to ensure successful and positive outcomes in a variety of unique scenarios, industries, and roles.

The online MS in Nutritional Science is based on scientific foundations of nutrition and reinforces essential skills in project management, interpretation of research literature, critical inquiry and problem-solving.

The online MS in human nutritional science with a dietetics concentration, offered by the ASU College of Health Solutions, is a non-thesis option for registered dietitians seeking to continue their education and advance their skills as practitioners. Designed with working professionals and students' learning preferences in mind, this online program can be completed either full time or part time. The online program is based on the scientific foundations of nutrition and prepares students to have strong writing skills, interpretive expertise and problem-solving skills.

GP A minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA or better is required in the last two years of work leading to a bachelor's degree.

English Proficiency Requirement: Applicants whose native language is not English must submit a Test of English as a Foreign Language score.

Required Admission Examinations: Because passing the RD exam and gaining work experience in the field of dietetics are required for successful admission to the MS in human nutritional science, dietetics concentration, the Nutrition Program Graduate Committee does not require applicants to take or submit scores from the Graduate Record Examination

Letters of Recommendation: Three letters of recommendation, including at least one from an employer or work supervisor.

Resume: A resume that summarizes the applicant's academic, volunteer, and employment experiences.

Written Statement: A one- to two-page, typed, double-spaced, personal statement addressing the following: significant professional responsibilities the applicant has held; professional goals and reasons for desiring to enroll in this program; strengths that will help the applicant succeed in this program and in reaching their professional goals; and personal interests in research, including, if applicable, studies involving the practice of dietetics.
