The College of Science Mathematics at the University of North Georgia has received a federal grant for nearly $615,000 to support students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields. The grant is part of the National Science Foundation Scholarship in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics project, which aims to increase the STEM workforce by recruiting and supporting academically talented, low-income students through degree completion, and partnering with employers to facilitate job placement. The Scholarship for Engineering Education for Minorities program offers financial assistance to Georgia residents who are engineering students attending an eligible post-secondary institution and enrolled in an engineering program of study approved by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accrediting Board of Engineering and Technology ROSE-BUD’s goal is to enhance diversity among academically talented computer science, computer, electrical and software engineering majors.

ROSE-BUD’s goal is to enhance diversity among academically talented computer science, computer, electrical and software engineering majors. The ROSE-BUD scholarship is open to incoming freshmen majoring in Computer Science, Computer, Electrical or Software Engineering. The maximum ROSE-BUD scholarship is $10,000 per academic year and the amount awarded will be based on the Rose-BUD application in conjunction with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and the RHIT admission application. ROSE-BUD Scholars will retain their scholarships as long as they maintain a GPA of at least 2.75, remain enrolled full-time in one of the selected majors, and participate in the required activities. Only the students.S. citizens and permanent residents are eligible to for the Rose-BUD Scholarship. Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has created special support mechanisms for both scholarship recipients and current Rose-Hulman students to help them prepare for summer internships and research experiences. Scholarship selection and awards will be made byMarch 31annually.

Georgia Southern University has an array of scholarships for many majors, degrees, and class levels. The Financial Aid also maintains a current listing of scholarships from outside the university. If applicant have than one student receiving the scholarship, applicant can send separate checks or include them all in one check. All first-time freshman scholars must reside on campus if they receive institutional aid totaling $6,000 or for their first year at UA Little Rock. Academic scholarships are available to pay direct expenses that are charged to the student’s account with the University after any reductions due to institutional fee waivers or discounts. LEARN™ is a program for transfer students that focuses on the academic success of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics students. Accepted students will receive a $500 scholarship in the fall and an additional $1,500 scholarship in the spring if a research position has been secured. Criteri Graduate degree-seeking students enrolled in Geosciences who submit an essay detailing their interest in geosciences and future career plans, their reasons for seeking the scholarship, and any demonstrated financial hardship.

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for the S-STEM scholarship. The College of Science Mathematics at the University of North Georgia has received a federal grant for nearly $615,000 to support students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields. The grant will provide annual, competitive scholarships of $4,362 to 24 talented, full-time freshmen who do not have their financial needs met through traditional financial aid. Twelve scholarships will be awarded to students on UNG Dahlonega Campus and 12 to students on UNG Gainesville Campus. Presidential Scholarships, Dean’s Scholarships, Trustee Scholarships and Trustee Grants will be renewed for a maximum of 11 semesters for entering freshmen students pursuing the Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Presidential Scholarships, Dean’s Scholarships, Trustee Scholarships, Trustee Grants, Pharmaceutical Sciences Scholars Awards, Biomedical Technology Excel Awards, Health and Human Sciences Awards, and Trustee Scholarships for students in Bachelor’s Degree programs will be renewed for a maximum of seven semesters. The Microbiology Scholarship is renewed each year, provided the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater and continued enrollment in Microbiology. The Public Health Scholarship is renewed each year, provided the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater and continued enrollment in Public Health. Each year the committee representing the Dean’s Endowment for Excellence Scholarship selects one entering freshman for the scholarship. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic merit. The scholarship will be renewed for a maximum of six years or until the student leaves or graduates from the College. The student must maintain a 3.0 overall cumulative GPA for continued renewal of the scholarship. Renewed eligibility for the scholarship will be reviewed annually. The Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship is awarded to graduates of a 2 year community college, who are members of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society program.

Awarded to first-time freshmen students who demonstrate the highest academic and extracurricular achievement, these scholarships are a combination of either an in-state tuition waiver or a WUE Advantage Scholarship, and a cash supplement of up to $6,000 per year. Marie Moebus Presidential Scholarships are Montana Tech’s highest honor and are the most competitive scholarships offered. These scholarships are renewable for up to four years.
