Applications for consideration should be submitted to the appropriate University office by the announced deadline, and selection of scholarship recipients will be made by a scholarship selection committee in accordance with these guidelines. Recipients of the scholarship are also eligible to receive other forms of student financial aid for which they may qualify. The Art and Art History awards a Schnorrenberg Scholarship to an student who is majoring in Art History. The Scholarship is awarded from the income of an endowment created by the family and friends of John M. The Schnorrenberg Scholar must be a full-time student registered for at least twelve semester hours in the term for which the scholarship is paid. The Art and Art History awards the Klaus Urban Scholarship to a graduate student in Art History. The Scholarship is awarded from the income of an endowment created by Ms. Melissa Ann Campbell in honor of the life and legacy of Dr. Klaus Urban. Rules governing the award and tenure of the Klaus Urban Scholarship in Art History:. The scholarship will be paid in one or two semesters. The Klaus Urban Scholar must be a graduate student in good academic standing registered for 6-9 semester hours in the term for which the scholarship is paid.

Realistic financial planning is an essential part of college preparation. UAH helps qualified students find employment, scholarships, and loans as resources permit. The priority dates are the dates by which completed scholarship applications are certain to be included in the first round of review and by which the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be processed in a timely manner. UAB announces the availability of a Family Assistance Scholarship for eligible graduate students. Scholarship funds will be provided to graduate students who have family-related financial commitments that would, if not resolved, prevent them from enrolling in a degreegranting graduate program. would be considered appropriate reasons to for a Family Assistance Scholarship. Funds from these scholarships will be capped at $5,000 per year and will be provided in addition to any stipend or other support awarded to students through their graduate program. Family Assistance Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis only to new graduate students who are US citizens or permanent residents and who have already been accepted into a research based Ph.D. program at UAB. To retain their Family Assistance Scholarship, recipients must be enrolled as full-time students. Women, minorities and others who have a financial responsibility for supporting children, a parent, or sibling are encouraged to . The Auburn University Office of Student Financial Aid provides guidance to students who need financial aid in order to attend the University. Subject to the Dean’s reserved authority to make all final award decisions, our mission-based scholarships fall into the following two categories:. Second-year (2L) and third-year (3L) students may be eligible to receive endowed, need-based, merit or leadership scholarships, made possible through the generosity of the law school’s alumni and friends. Any student placed on Warning will have one term of continued Federal Financial in which to achieve the academic criteria appropriate for the hours attempted at the end of the term of warning. Failure to do so subjects such a student to Financial Aid Suspension. Our blended approach of using institutional grants (based on financial need) and scholarships (based on need and merit) ensures that we recognize the achievements of the incredible students who want to receive a University of Montevallo liberal arts education. Scholarships are established through the University Foundation by the generosity of our Montevallo alumni, family, and friends for students who accomplishments prove they will have an extraordinary impact on our school and local communities. Scholarships are awarded to full time students who have been admitted and are with good standing with the University of Montevallo. A scholarship for a student taking less than 12 hours will be prorated based on hours taken. All students are encouraged to submit a FAFSA each year and to explore all financial options. Scholarships are listed under the Admissions page and then again under each departmental page. The University encourages students to for scholarships through Awardspring. This program will match the student to the scholarships they are eligible for. Some of these scholarships are renewable, some are not. If you have received financial aid and are not enrolled full time, your aid will be reviewed and possibly adjusted after drop add. You will receive financial aid in two installments (one half is disbursed for fall semester the second half for spring semester), unless otherwise noted. If the total financial aid paid to your student account exceeds your total charges, a refund check will be issued to you by the UNA Office of Student Accounts. Outstanding requirements may prevent your financial aid from disbursing in a timely manner. The University Fellows Scholarship is mutually exclusive and may not be combined with other Samford aid, except for National Merit and Legacy Scholarships. Presidential Scholarships are awarded to incoming freshman students who display outstanding academic achievement and involvement in critical leadership roles in school, church and the community. Students who receive this scholarship typically have an ACT score of 30, SAT score of 1340 and a grade point average of 4.0 or higher. Only students with an ACT score 27 or higher or SAT score of 1280 or higher and a grade point average of 3.5 and higher will be reviewed for the Presidential Scholarship. For this scholarship, we will consider a student best scores from the ACT or SAT, up to the October 27 ACT test date and the November 3 SAT test date. Due to the nature of this scholarship, it is mutually exclusive with all other Samford aid, with the exception of the Legacy Scholarship and National Merit Scholarship. Selection for this scholarship involves an interview with the Scholarship Committee. In order to be considered for the program, students must complete their scholarship application by December 1 and have a minimum ACT score of 28, old SAT score of 1250 (Math and Critical Reading) and redesigned SAT score of 1310. Due to the nature of the scholarship, it is mutually exclusive with all other Samford aid, with the exception of the Legacy and National Merit Scholarships. Selection for the University Fellows scholarship involves the application process and an on-campus interview.
