The Oral Medicine Residency sponsored by Harvard School of Dental Medicine is an intensive training program for dentists committed to pursuing a full-time academic and or institutional career. Clinical training is based at Harvard affiliated teaching hospitals including at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Trainees are co-appointed as Residents at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) and Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM). The program is fully accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
The Oral Medicine and Oral Oncology Fellowship Program is a one year, full-time training program for dentists who are committed to developing expertise in oncology and oral health and serving as community leaders. Trainees are co-appointed at HSDM, Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), and Dana Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI). Clinical training is based at BWH and DFCI with additional rotations at other Harvard affiliated teaching hospitals as well as community health centers. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with HSDM Fellow Salary Scale.
