Students in the Penn State College of Medicine Physician Assistant Program. The Penn State Physician Assistant (PA) Program, located at the Penn State College of Medicine campus in Hershey, PA, is a 24-month, full-time graduate program enrolling 30 students each May. I am a recent graduate of Carroll University Physician Assistant program and was honored to accept the position as an Emergency Medicine Post-Graduate Fellow. My aspiration to work in Emergency Medicine stems from the unique challenges and rewards that the ED offers. Building rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds and meeting their acute needs in a fast-paced environment, is not only a continual exercise in critical thinking and team-work, but a fulfilling way to practice medicine. I believe my personal experience with Viral Meningitis during a South Dakota family vacation when I was 6 started my curiosity medicine and Emergency Medicine in particular.
