The Practical Nursing Program has a total of 1,536 hours of instruction through a mixture of classroom, laboratory simulation practice, and live clinical experiences. The full-time program takes place over a 4 day period, often Monday-Thursday. The part-time option takes place during one day of instruction and a day of afternoon evening clinicals. Some weekend time may be required in place of another clinical day. Clinical experiences occur at a variety of acute and long-term care facilities, as well as other specialty health offices throughout the northern tier.

This course is designed to assist the student to prepare for the practical nursing licensure exam (NCLEX-PN) and entry into practice.
