I was very fortunate and received Wallace Memorial Fellowship from the Princeton Graduate School in 2014, and I think Kevin Chen was awarded this last year which is interesting since both were in the graduate certificate program. I think this is directly testament to the quality of the program aiding us in our computational pursuits. The graduate certificate in computational and information science is only open to Princeton University graduate students who are currently enrolled.

The Technology, Innovation, and Education (TIE) Program nurtures creative leaders in education toward researching and designing new technologies and media that promote powerful teaching and engaged learning. Whether it a course on designing cutting-edge technologies, a practicum on large-scale distance learning, or a course on evaluating the impact of educational apps, we concentrate on the cognitive, affective, and social dimensions of learning, not on the bit rate. TIE is a one-year program for people from a wide variety of academic, professional, and personal backgrounds.

The STEM education and evaluation team at Yale’s Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning promotes excellence in STEM education both within the Yale community and at colleges and universities throughout the US.
