Association for Women in Aviation Maintenance Scholarship
AWAM’s Scholarship Program supports the diverse skills required in the field of Aviation Maintenance.
Scholarship opportunities are not only for initial students or women. Many are for those already working in the field, transitioning from the military, and for men as well.
Addiction Awareness Scholarship Campaign
To raise awareness as to the causes, consequences, and treatment of addiction, Seasons in Malibu, an addiction treatment center, is seeking to reward essay applicants $1,500 in scholarships- for students entering college or already enrolled in a higher education institution. The aim of the scholarship is to bring attention as to why addiction, in various forms, is becoming more prevalent in our society and how can we address the issue of an increasing number of people dealing with addiction. The scholarship is open to any major who can shed light on this issue. It may be a personal story that you can share or a more researched essay.
There will be 2 contest submission dates. To be eligible for the contest submit your essay by one the submission dates.
Education Equity Scholarship
The Parian Law Firm provides a needs-based financial aid response, with a focus on aid gap funding. A student currently enrolled in a community college, junior college, undergraduate, or graduate program may receive $1,000.00. The Education Equality Scholarship recognizes individuals who are dedicated to furthering their education, welfare, and financial stability. Regardless of a student's major choice or current academic year, the Education Equality Scholarship is open.
CastleBranch-GNSA Scholarship
The CastleBranch-GNSA Scholarship honors graduate nursing students who are committed to innovation, leadership, and/or mentoring in order to advance the nursing profession. Every semester, two $2,500 scholarships will be given out, for a total of four scholarships per academic year.
This scholarship recognizes the outstanding work of graduate nursing students who are advancing the nursing profession through a commitment to innovation, leadership, and/or mentoring.
Domestic Violence Information Center’s Good Samaritan Scholarship
The Good Samaritan Scholarship is offered by the Connecticut Domestic Violence Information Center. This $1,000 scholarship will be given to a student who demonstrates the qualities of a good samaritan. are searching for a student who is willing to support and give to others. Good Samaritans are sympathetic and helpful, always turning up to help when most people would not.
Stephen K. Hall ACWA Water Law & Policy Scholarship
Each year through the Stephen K. Hall ACWA Water Law & Policy Scholarship Program, ACWA awards one scholarship to a qualified graduate student. The annual scholarship amount was increased to $10,000.
Foster G. McGaw Graduate Student Scholarship
Offered annually, the Foster G. McGaw Graduate Student Scholarship is designated for students enrolled in their final year of a healthcare management graduate program.
This scholarship is offered to provide financial aid to students in healthcare management graduate programs to help offset tuition costs, student loans and expenses.
Barbara A. Cooley Master’s Scholarship
The award is a $1,000 scholarship awarded annually to a master's level student. Recipients may spend the award in any manner they desire. Recipients will also receive a one-year complimentary student membership in SHAPE America.

William C. Johnson Distinguished Scholarship
The William C. Johnson Distinguished Scholarship recognizes academic excellence and outstanding service to the Society at the local, regional, and/or national level. Applications should demonstrate both academic achievement and campus, community, and chapter service; applicants should explain the relevance of their program of study to fostering the discipline of English, including literature, language, writing, and literacy. This scholarship requires applicants to submit, in addition to the application information and scholarship essay, a paper originally submitted as coursework and a declaration of authorship.
AIA Chicago Foundation Diversity Scholarship
The Graduate Scholarship is a design scholarship established to increase diversity* within the architectural profession by aiding an incoming or currently enrolled graduate student attending a Chicago-based college of architecture.
Gertrude M. Cox Scholarship
The Cox Scholarship, sponsored by the ASA Committee on Women in Statistics and Caucus for Women in Statistics, was established in 1989 to encourage women to enter statistically oriented professions.
Two scholarship recipients are selected each year: one to a woman in or entering the early stages of graduate training (MS or PhD) and one to a woman in a advanced stage of training. Scholarship recipients receive a certificate and $1,000.
