Course Description
Students looking to enhance their previous academic history to be competitive applicants for med school, a PhD program, or a full-time job, will find that our challenging coursework allows them to show demonstrated improved academic ability, as well as continue to extend their learning on topics necessary for the MCAT and in health professional school. Among ARE programs, some offer a graduate degree, others a certificate of completion. Our program includes research that culminates in a thesis. EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING Participation in a scientific research project at Loras helps students deepen their understanding of science in ways that are not possible with purely didactic coursework.
Students earn a PhD degree in Biomedical Science (Name of Subprogram). Admission to the Biomedical Science Program is highly selective and we strive to enroll an academically strong and diverse cohort of students every year. Every application is reviewed carefully and holistically. GRE scores are not required.
Our 22-24 month graduate degree program will deepen your understanding of human diseases and immunology, as well as give you the opportunities to investigate the mechanisms of health and disease.
