DESCRIPTION

The Good Samaritan Scholarship is offered by the Connecticut Domestic Violence Information Center. This $1,000 scholarship will be given to a student who demonstrates the qualities of a good samaritan. are searching for a student who is willing to support and give to others. Good Samaritans are sympathetic and helpful, always turning up to help when most people would not.

  • The Good Samaritan Scholarship is open to all undergraduate, graduate, and law school students, as well as incoming first-year students. Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited U.S. educational institution. The candidate must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • REQUIREMENTS

    To qualify for a scholarship, students must meet the following criteria.

    1. Must submit Resume

    2. Letter of recommendation is required

    Applicants must submit all the academic transcripts

    3. Must submit a 500-word essay that identifies the applicant and describes the applicant’s Good Samaritan characteristics as well as examples of acts of kindness towards others
