List of Universities offering Presidential Scholarships for Graduate Students

Current Charleston School of Law students may also be eligible for the Presidential Honors Program, which includes a scholarship, based on outstanding academic performance during their first year or first thirty credits earned at the law school. Students who apply to external scholarships agree to do their due diligence and not hold the Charleston School of Law accountable for any damages. There are no GPA or LSAT score requirements to qualify for need-based scholarship funds. Accepted students who are offered a merit scholarship do not also qualify for a need-based scholarship. Applicants for fall admission or current Charleston School of Law students who wish to be considered for need-based scholarship funds should complete the scholarship application.

All new incoming first year students who are admitted to the University will automatically be considered for a Presidential Scholarship. Presidential scholarships are renewable for up to four years pending SCSU GPA and course completion. Presidential Scholarships may not be applied to Accelerated Online Programs. The Red Black Transfer Scholarship is automatically awarded to high-achieving new-entering transfer students with a cumulative college GPA of 3.0 or higher. The scholarship is awarded in amounts of $500 or $1,000 per year in fall and spring semesters based upon GPA and is renewable for an additional year if the required SCSU GPA is maintained. The university $500 PTK Scholarship is automatically awarded to new-entering transfer students who are Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society members.

Drake University offers Presidential Scholarships with an annual range of financial support, spanning from $26,000 to $34,000 per year. An additional advantage is that Presidential Scholarships are renewable for recipients who maintain enrollment in at least 12 credit hours per semester and consistently demonstrate satisfactory academic progress.

Texas Tech University offers a variety of general and merit-based scholarship programs to help ease the cost of their education at Texas Tech. Applicant are encouraged to seek external scholarships which can supplement their award. Students are considered for general scholarships with their application for admission to Texas Tech University. Use the ApplyTexas or Common App application for admission and scholarship consideration. Presidential Merit Scholarships are awarded to entering first-time freshmen who show exceptional academic ability. If applicant are a non-resident awarded a Presidential Scholarship, applicant will also qualify to pay in-state tuition. There are billions of dollars of external scholarship money available to students of all qualifications, abilities, and interests.

Presidential Silver Scholarship: $4,700 Will convert to NM Legislative Lottery Scholarship plus $1,500 for 7 semesters upon the completion of 15 credits per semester with a 2.5 GPA. Presidential Gold Scholarship: $5,700 Will convert to NM Legislative Lottery Scholarship plus $2,000 for 7 semesters upon the completion of 15 credits per semester with a 2.5 GPA. New Mexico Success Transfer Scholarship: $4,000 The New Mexico Graduate Scholarship Program is limited to the funding available and the amount of funding changes each year. A full-time scholarship carries a stipend of $7,200 per academic year and must be matched by a half-time assistantship from the academic unit. Regardless of their money situation, if applicant are an academic high achiever, applicant should always apply for scholarships at the university.
