Association for Women in Aviation Maintenance Scholarship
AWAM’s Scholarship Program supports the diverse skills required in the field of Aviation Maintenance.
Scholarship opportunities are not only for initial students or women. Many are for those already working in the field, transitioning from the military, and for men as well.
Addiction Awareness Scholarship Campaign
To raise awareness as to the causes, consequences, and treatment of addiction, Seasons in Malibu, an addiction treatment center, is seeking to reward essay applicants $1,500 in scholarships- for students entering college or already enrolled in a higher education institution. The aim of the scholarship is to bring attention as to why addiction, in various forms, is becoming more prevalent in our society and how can we address the issue of an increasing number of people dealing with addiction. The scholarship is open to any major who can shed light on this issue. It may be a personal story that you can share or a more researched essay.
There will be 2 contest submission dates. To be eligible for the contest submit your essay by one the submission dates.
CastleBranch-GNSA Scholarship
The CastleBranch-GNSA Scholarship honors graduate nursing students who are committed to innovation, leadership, and/or mentoring in order to advance the nursing profession. Every semester, two $2,500 scholarships will be given out, for a total of four scholarships per academic year.
This scholarship recognizes the outstanding work of graduate nursing students who are advancing the nursing profession through a commitment to innovation, leadership, and/or mentoring.
Domestic Violence Information Center’s Good Samaritan Scholarship
The Good Samaritan Scholarship is offered by the Connecticut Domestic Violence Information Center. This $1,000 scholarship will be given to a student who demonstrates the qualities of a good samaritan. are searching for a student who is willing to support and give to others. Good Samaritans are sympathetic and helpful, always turning up to help when most people would not.
Stephen K. Hall ACWA Water Law & Policy Scholarship
Each year through the Stephen K. Hall ACWA Water Law & Policy Scholarship Program, ACWA awards one scholarship to a qualified graduate student. The annual scholarship amount was increased to $10,000.
William C. Johnson Distinguished Scholarship
The William C. Johnson Distinguished Scholarship recognizes academic excellence and outstanding service to the Society at the local, regional, and/or national level. Applications should demonstrate both academic achievement and campus, community, and chapter service; applicants should explain the relevance of their program of study to fostering the discipline of English, including literature, language, writing, and literacy. This scholarship requires applicants to submit, in addition to the application information and scholarship essay, a paper originally submitted as coursework and a declaration of authorship.
Women in Science Graduate Fellowship
Sponsored by the Field Museum’s Women’s Board, the Women in Science Graduate Fellowship awards female graduate students who have completed her qualifying exams.
Overcoming Obstacles Scholarship
The Overcoming Obstacles Scholarship will be awarded $1,000 to a student who best describes a significant event or difficulty they have encountered, discusses how they overcome the challenge, the effect it had on them, and how they have used or will use what they learned along the way to support others in the future.
The 2021 Extracurricular Impact Scholarship
A $1,000 Extracurricular Influence Scholarship will be awarded to one student who best conveys how extracurricular activities have impacted their life and academic achievement in a 750-1,000 word essay. This could be something you're doing right now or something you've done in the past.
George and Pearl Strickland Scholarship Fund
The George and Pearl Strickland Scholarship Fund is awarded for both undergraduate or graduate students with financial need pursuing a degree at the Atlanta University Center colleges.

$5,000 Discover Student Loans Scholarship Award
Discover Student Loans Scholarship Award is made by Discover Bank. At Discover Student Loans, they believe in responsible borrowing and encourage students to maximize scholarships, grants, and other free financial aid before taking loans. For students who need loans, they offer affordable private student loans to pay for college and graduate school. To prevent excessive borrowing, they certify and disburse all undergraduate and graduate loan amounts through the school.
They provide loans to students at over 2,400 colleges and graduate schools across the country to help them cover up to 100% of school-certified costs. Aggregate loan limits apply. They also provide post-graduate loans for law students and health professions students as well as private consolidation loans.
Web Design Scholarship
The Lounge Lizard Web Design Scholarship is only open to students attending school in the United States. Applicant must be a student at an accredited school, or be accepted to begin school at an accredited school within 6 months of application. Applicants can win the contest up to 2 times only.
The winner of the Lounge Lizard Web Design Scholarship will be determined by a selection committee set up by Lounge Lizard.
The winner will also be granted a design critique session with Ken Braun, for any project of your choosing.
The David Benowitz Recognizing Public Servants Scholarship
The $1,000 David Benowitz Recognizing Public Servants Scholarship will be given to the student who best expresses their thoughts on the role of public servants and their work with wisdom and imagination. Discuss the role of public servants and public service in society, as well as why public servants, especially public defenders, are critical in our legal system in a 750-1,000 word essay.
George and Lavinia Blick Research Fund
The George and Lavinia Blick Research Fund was established to support research across the academic health center, and the scholar program has been used to recognize and support the outstanding research of junior faculty. The award honors health sciences, faculty, at the assistant professor level who have demonstrated growth toward achieving national or international recognition for their research, developed a record of obtaining external funding, and whose research is collaborative.

Barbara J. Thompson Scholarship
One-time awards of up to $2,500 are available for graduates or current graduating seniors of any accredited high school physically located within the Santa Cruz City Schools District who have a minimum 3.0 GPA, are US citizens who have resided in Santa Cruz County for three of the past four years, and have participated in three of the following during their high school years: Employment, Family Care, Community Involvement, Volunteer Work, and Sports.
Masters in Computer Science Financial Aid- Cornell University
Your student account is directly credited with the various types of aid (grants, scholarships, and loans) that are managed by the Office of Financial Aid and Student Employment as a planned credit to cover billed expenses (ie. tuition, fees, room, and board). Before distributing funds, eligibility must be verified in accordance with institutional and federal regulations.
The Research Option allows for the admission of students with less experience or interest in teaching, who are subsequently supported by research assistantships offered by sponsored research projects. MS students are often supported by teaching assistantships provided by the department. Students who want to be funded in this way must obtain a recommendation letter from the academic sponsor, and the financial source must be disclosed in advance. If there is a financial gap in research, TA support is not guaranteed.
