AIU Advantage Grant:

• This grant was awarded proportionately over the academic year.

Academic Educational Alliances Grant:

• Its purpose is to assist eligible students with an articulation agreement.
• To be eligible Eligibility: Admission acceptance and verification of prior attendance.
• Grant Usage: Exclusively for academic year tuition costs.
• Documentation of prior attendance is required.
• Grant awarded proportionately over the academic year.

Tribal Educational Alliances Grant:

• Its purpose is to assist eligible students with tribal affiliation.
• Eligibility: Admission acceptance and verification of tribal affiliation.
• Its usage is exclusively for program charges.
• Documentation of tribal affiliation is required.

AIU Veterans Grant:

• Its purpose is to assist Veterans of the U.S. Military.
• Eligibility: Admission acceptance, military discharge verification, and Attestation form.
• Its usage is exclusively for prior or current program charges.
• Discharge must be other than dishonourable.

Yellow Ribbon Grant:

• Its purpose is for eligible students as per the Yellow Ribbon Program.
• Its usage is exclusively for prior or current program charges.
• Eligibility and amounts are determined annually.

Lifelong Learning Grant:

• Its purpose is for eligible alumni entering the MSIT program.
• Its usage is exclusively for prior or current program charges.
• It cannot be combined with other institutional grants.

AIU Military Spouse Grant:

• Its purpose is for spouses of active duty and drilling U.S. military members.
• Eligibility: Admission acceptance and verification of military affiliation.
• Its usage is exclusively for prior or current program charges.

AIU Resilience Grant:

• Its purpose is to assist students facing excuse circumstances.
• Eligibility: Need-based, exhausted external financial assistance options.
• Its usage is to cover the remaining tuition and fees charges.
• A maximum of 75 recipients per academic session are given this grant.

AIU Success Grant:

• Its purpose is to grant this need-based grant to eligible students.
• Eligibility: Exhausted all other financial assistance options.
• Its usage is to cover the remaining tuition charges.

AIU Student Determination Grant:

• Its purpose Need-based grant for eligible students.
• Eligibility: Reviewed and determined by the Financial Aid Department.
• Its usage is to be disbursed after each academic term.

Alumni Referral Grant:

• Its purpose is for AIU Alumni to refer new students.
• Grant for new students get up to $1,000 awarded over two academic terms.

Impact Grant:

• Its purpose is To support eligible students with the opportunity to attend AIU.
• Eligibility: Employment verification with a participating employer.

AIU Academic Progress Scholarship:

• Its purpose is to recognize outstanding students entering their final 60 credit hours.
• A minimum of 60 credit hours and a 3.2 cumulative GPA are required to be eligible.
• Up to $3,000 disbursed over academic terms.

AIU International Scholarship:

• Its purpose recognize international students with outstanding academic records.
• They disbursed proportionately throughout the program.

International Student Grant:

• Its purpose is to assist international students from select countries.
• Eligibility: Referred by a third party, eligibility attestation, not eligible for Title IV funds.

Language Center Grant for International Students:

• Its purpose is for international students referred by language centres.
• Eligibility: Enrolled full-time, eligibility disclosure, not U.S. residents or Title IV eligible non-citizens.

The Imagine America Military Award Program (MAP) is designed to help military service members receive career education and make the transition from military to civilian life. The Imagine America Foundation offers a $1,000 career education award to any qualified active-duty, reservist, honorably discharged, or retired veteran of a United States military service branch for attendance at participating career colleges.

All new graduate students who completed an undergraduate degree at North Park University can enter the CMHC program with a 20% tuition reduction thanks to the University’s Alumni Grant. This grant may be used for one course or the full program. It cannot be combined with any other scholarships or discounts that may be offered to you from North Park.

Swedish Covenant Hospital Partnership: North Park University is pleased to provide financial support for employees of Swedish Covenant Hospital (SCH) who enroll in degree programs, either in-person or online, according to the following parameters:

CMHC students may also be eligible for veteran’s benefits or other outside scholarships. The University can also work with you to take advantage of employer reimbursement benefits.

Student Loans: Many graduate students borrow student loans to pay for master’s degrees. All student loans must be repaid; most federal student loans are at a significantly lower interest than other private loans. In order to explore options for student loans, you must complete a FAFSA for each academic year you want loan funding. Generally, you will start loan repayment six months after you graduate or leave school.

Alumni Grant: The North Park University Alumni can enroll in graduate coursework with a 30% tuition reduction. This grant may be used for individual courses or a whole program, for in-person or online courses. This grant cannot be combined with any other scholarships or discounts that may be offered to you from North Park

The NBCC Foundation military scholarships are for service members, veterans, and their spouses pursuing a career in professional counseling. The military scholarship was created to increase the number of counselors available to serve military personnel and families.

These scholarships provide financial support to students who are currently enrolled in a Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP)-accredited, master’s-level counseling program; are active duty, have served in the military, or are a military spouse; and who commit to serving military personnel within one year of graduation for the duration of a minimum of at least two years postgraduation.
